This project is close to completion. All new water mains, fire hydrants, and water services have been installed.
The last steps to be taken are for the contractor to adjust the height on certain fire hydrants, grout the old water
mains in place, perform asphalt trench restoration, restore any excavations/disturbed areas back to pre-construction
condition (or better), and complete any minor punch list items that are identified as the project nears completion.

The LTMUA is anticipating the Contractor, P&A Construction to start the water main replacement project
called Phase 1, North Cape May starting the week of December 1st, 2025. This project will consist of replacing
approximately 23,000 feet of water main pipe, 300 residential water services, and the addition of 52 fire hydrants.
Weather depending, this project should conclude within three to four months from the start date.
The affected streets are located within the red outlined area on the map.
